I am an immunologist with a master's degree in Biological Sciences, currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Salamanca, focused on artificial intelligence applied to digital pathology and cancer. I work as an assistant professor at Universidad El Bosque and am co-founder of SavIA Lab (the AI Laboratory of Universidad El Bosque), where I develop AI-based healthcare solutions, particularly for image-assisted diagnosis and cervical cytology.
My experience spans biomedical research, data science, computer vision and the development of reproducible systems with potential for clinical translation. I have been recognized as a Rising Researcher (Universidad El Bosque, 2024), received the Award for Excellence in Strategic Development for creating SavIA Lab (2024), and was selected as a recipient of the Imaging 4 All Access Call 2025–2026 scholarship from Euro-BioImaging ERIC for an international training placement in digital pathology at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
